Heptacarpus pictus (broken back shrimp)

Found in area 7 and area 5.

Broken back shrimp are found in tide pools on the south part of the beach near the high tide line. Sometimes they perch on the underside of large rocks. They measure about 2 inches. Sometimes they are found in the eelgrass at very low tides.
