Haliaeetus leucocephalus (bald eagle)

Found in area 4 to 5 and in nest area 11.

There is a bald eagle nest in the trees to the north just beyond the Cove. The eagle will come down to the water’s edge and walk around among the gulls and other shore birds. Sometimes you can see it catch a fish in the water a little further off shore.
